I've never met Hunter Hayes, but from seeing interviews and watching his performances I would guess that he's a pretty cool guy. It turns out that he is. This weekend Hunter performed at the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam festival and hooked his fans up.

Tickets for this show, like most festivals, we're pretty expensive, CMT reports that a general admission ticket cost around $200. The line up included acts such as Lady A, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban and Sam Hunt along with, of course, Hunter Hayes.

Hunter went above and beyond to hook up his fans. He planned an elaborate prank which involved a cop car pulling over a bus full of his fans. Instead of getting a fine they got a ticket. Not that kind of ticket. It was an upgraded ticket. From general admission to what I'm assuming is a VIP section. How cool is that?

Check out the behind the scenes video and the execution of a great prank.

Hunter Hayes will be in the area later this month. You can see him at Eisenhower Hall Theater at West Point on October 24th.
