If you need a playlist for your BBQ this weekend, we got you covered.

As we all prepare to celebrate our independence with the 4th of July coming up this weekend, most of us have at least one barbeque to attend or maybe even host. Whether you're going or hosting, it doesn't matter, what matters is that you have a GREAT playlist of music, a playlist that everyone will enjoy.

To get you all set up, we asked fans of the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show to share their favorite patriotic songs. We got some great suggestions and decided to do a top ten list so everyone can have a good hour of great music to blast across the Hudson Valley.

Our list is no specific order, and to get things started Jess and I each picked two songs and went from there...

Hulk Hogan - Real American (this was Hogan's entrance music when he was a WWE wrestler)

Bruce Springsteen - Born in the U.S.A.

Toby Keith - American Soldier

Rodney Atkins - It's America

Johnny Cash - Ragged Old Flag

Toby Keith - Courtesy Of The Red, White And Blue (The Angry American)

Miley Cyrus - Party In The U.S.A.

Lee Greenwood - God Bless the U.S.A.

Martina McBride - Independence Day

Toby Keith - Made In America

That's the 10 we came up with so far, and just like most things, we know that we missed a bunch of great songs!! So if you would like to make our top 10 list a top 20, simply text us through the Wolf app the song you think we need to add to the list and we will update. Have a safe and happy 4th of July!!

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.

LOOK: Here is the richest town in each state

Just saying the names of these towns immediately conjures up images of grand mansions, luxury cars, and ritzy restaurants. Read on to see which town in your home state took the title of the richest location and which place had the highest median income in the country. Who knows—your hometown might even be on this list.
