Hudson Valley Open Market Makes Big Announcement for 2025 Season
Last year I told you about a new farmers market in New Paltz, New York. They opened in the wake of another market in New Paltz announcing that they would be closing. The Hudson Valley Open Market spent 2024 just outside of town.

The Hudson Valley Open Market started its first season by setting up shop at the Ulster County Fair Grounds. They are a farmers' market and a makers' market which means you will find local produce and local artisans.

The first season was a success at the Ulster County Fair Ground on Libertyville Road but not having a farmers market in town was a bit of a bummer. This could be the reason that this week's announcement from the HudsoNValley Open Market has be met with such joyous reviews.
This past Sunday the Hudson Valley Open Market revealed news of their social media that they had been hinting at over the winter. They said they had a big announcement to make and boy was it big.

Starting May 3rd, 2025, and running through October 25th, 2025 you will now be able to shop the Hudosn Valley Open Market in town in New Paltz. They announced their new location which is the New Paltz Middle School at 196 Main Street.
Look for the market in its new location every Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM. Bookings are now open if you want to save yourself a space at the market to be a vendor. Contact them at hudsonvalleyopenmarket.com.
