Hudson Valley Mental Health Help Phone Numbers
If you need to talk or have a question answered here are some helpful resources.
We have talked with most of the Hudson Valley County Executives over the past few weeks about how each county is handling the outbreak of COVID-19. They have done a fantastic job at giving us up to date information with testing, hospitals, the number of cases each county is dealing with and so on.
One thing I really wanted to ask about was how is each county dealing with people like us that are dealing with our mental health being off. I know that I'm not alone in dealing with way more anxiety, depression and other emotions that some of us haven't had to really deal with before now.
If you are in the Hudson Valley and you need help of any kind, ways to cope with the stress, anxiety, isolation, maybe just someone to talk too, each county has set up phone numbers that we can call for help.
Here they are....
Dutchess County you can call or text 845-485-9700.
Orange County you cna call 1-800-832-1200.
Ulster County you can call 1-844-863-9314.
If you or someone you know is dealing with substance abuse issues there is a New York State State Hotline that has been set up to help. The state mobile crisis line is (518) 549–6500. This number will connect people to mental health services in their surrounding areas. You can also text the Crisis Text Line for NYS by texting GOT5 to 741741.
