Hudson Valley Gingerbread Competition to be Held Dec 8

It is back and beautifully delicious once again. The annual Hudson Valley Gingerbread Competition at the Mohonk Mountain House. The date this year is Sunday, December 8th. You must come witness the creativity, artistry and bakers craftsmanship that goes into creating these one of a kind treats.

There is a full day of events planned for December 8th. There will Shopping discounts throughout the day. Enjoy 20% off on selected items in the Gift Shop, Greenhouse, Spa Retail, Skate Shop, and Ski Shops.

Barn Museum - 9am to 4pm
You can take a step back in time to the founding of Mohonk Mountain House with a visit through the Barn Museum. See items dating back to the 1800s, the museum showcases items including Victorian-era carriages, antique farm and kitchen equipment, and a 1929 Model A Ford Station Wagon.

Victorian Caroling with The Brasiles Ensemble  - 11am to 12pm

Gingerbread Competition Public Viewing and Viewer’s Choice Voting - 12:30pm to 3:30pm. Each attendee can cast one vote for their favorite entry to help choose the overall Viewer’s Choice winner. There will be a $15 per person entry fee for members of the public to attend the Gingerbread Competition. This fee will be donated to the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley.

The Gingerbread Competition Awards Ceremony is at 4pm
This is when winners of the Adult, Junior, Mohonk Employee, and Viewer’s Choice awards will be announced. The selected winning entries will be displayed throughout the Mountain House from December 9, 2019 to January 1, 2020.
