Hudson Valley Bank Robbed Friday Morning
As everyone is getting ready for a long, holiday weekend, employees and customers at one Hudson Valley Bank, got a scary start to their day.
The Chase Bank on Route 9 in Hyde Park was robbed at approximately 11 this morning. According to the New York State Police, the subject entered the bank and demanded money. The subject was last seen wearing white pants, glasses, a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark colored mask, dark gloves, and white sneakers.
The suspect fled on foot northbound on State Route 9. The New York State Police believe that the suspect may have left the area in a dark colored sedan which was located in the area of Garden Street and Kirchner Avenue.
The New York State Police from Rhinebeck are assisting the Hyde Park Police Department, and both agencies are seeking the public’s assistance to help identify the man wanted in connection with this incident.
