How Bad Did This Dad Mess Up?

On a scale of 1 to 10, what do you think?

It's Wednesday and time for our weekly, "We Gotcha Wednesday Email" from a fellow Wolf listener looking for some help in one way or another. This week a Dad thinks he messed up and wants to know how bad we think he did.

He wrote to us, "I took my son for his first haircut. Without my wife. And didn't save a curl. In my defense, my son has his first birthday coming up on Friday, and his cake smash photo shoot is Saturday and he has got some wicked wings happening on the side of his head. My wife and I had talked about how he needs a haircut but weren't sure when we were going to have time to do it. My son and I were out yesterday and saw that a local barber shop didn’t have anyone in so we went in. He just got a little cut off the sides near his ears and the back. I get home thinking I did a good thing and my wife LOST. HER. MIND. Then, she lost it again when she asked if I saved a curl and I said 'A what?"

Scale of 1-10, 10 being I can never do anything worse as a father/partner, how bad did I mess up?"
