Have You Heard of Hot Cocoa Bombs?
I'll be the first one to admit that I am all about a fun TikTok trend. I'm 31 and obsessed with TikTok and I know I'm not alone.
A few weeks ago I watch a video of someone putting a beautiful, round ball of chocolate into a mug. Honestly, any video that has chocolate in it, I'm watching. In the video, they then pour warmed up milk in the mug and you slowly watch as the chocolate melts and out pops hot cocoa powder and marshmallows.
It's truly a beautiful sight.
Recently I saw that Costco started selling 16-packs of Hot Cocoa Bombs for $20. It's not a bad deal, but the closest Costco locations are in Nanuet, Brookfield CT and Stamford, CT.
If you're not willing to travel for a $20 package of hot cocoa bombs, you can most definitely have a little DIY fun and make them at home.
Unfortunately, I'm terrible at this kind of stuff but TasteofHome.Com found a TikTok breaking down the step by step process.
If you don't want to sit through the TikTok for what you're going to need let me break it down for you:
- Half Sphere Silicone Chocolate Mold (you can find them on Amazon).
- Your Choice of Chocolate to Melt.
- Hot Cocoa Powder
- Mini Marshmallows
The video is much better at showing how to create these fun edible crafts. So I suggest pressing play above to get the full, professional experience.
Have you seen these creations? When the weather gets a little colder and we're stuck inside this could be the perfect stay-at-home activity.
