Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson Action announced on Thursday it's endorsing Bernie Sanders for President. The independent expenditure committee also said it will be knocking on 10,000 doors in the Hudson Valley ahead of the New York presidential primary on April 28 to help Sanders.

“Bernie is the only one that can beat Trump, because he’s the only one with a movement of millions of people standing with him,“ Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson Executive Director Jonathan Bix said in a press release. “Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson Action is going to door-knock in cities and on college campuses across four upstate counties. We’re going to hit at least 10,000 doors, and we’re excited to help Bernie win New York.”

Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson Action will be door-knocking in cities and on college campuses throughout Ulster, Dutchess, Orange and Sullivan Counties. Cities will include Kingston, New Paltz, Middletown, Newburgh, Poughkeepsie, Beacon and Monticello, according to Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson Action. Colleges will include SUNY-New Paltz, SUNY-Ulster, SUNY-Orange, Vassar, Marist, Bard and Dutchess Community College.

“Our members - and the majority of people in this country - want Medicare for All, housing for all, and an end to family separations. That’s what Bernie’s running to do,” Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson Community Organizer Diana Lopez said. “Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson Action will be mobilizing hundreds of members and volunteers to fight with Bernie for the world we deserve — where everyone, Latino, Black, and White — has access to healthcare, housing, and safety.”

Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson is a grassroots organization in the Hudson Valley fighting for progressive issues and to elect representatives who champion those issues.
