You should check your cabinets and pantry for these General Mills flour products.

According to General Mills they have expanded a flour recall that was originally announced back on May 31, 2016 because of four new confirmed E.coli illnesses.

Health officials report that the illnesses that have been reported are with consumers reporting that they ate or handled uncooked dough or ate uncooked batter made with raw flour. No illnesses have been connected with flour that has been properly baked, cooked or handled.

General Mills President, Jeff Harmening, said that "We want all the avid home bakers out there to have peace of mind and know the most important thing they can do to keep safe is to not eat uncooked flour.”

Flour is made from wheat that is grown outdoors where bacteria are often present. Flour is typically not treated to kill bacteria during the normal milling process.

Here are some things you should do when dealing with raw flour:

1. Do not eat or taste dough or batter made with raw flour.
2. Properly cook or bake food made with flour.
3. Check your pantry and throw away any products that match the recalled products.
4. If you have any questions about this recall you can call the General Mills Consumer Relations department at 1-800-230-8103.
