Free Outdoor Movie Night Starts June 3rd

It's another great season of free outdoor movies in New Paltz. Once again this year every Monday night starting June 3rd and running through August 26th you can enjoy a free outdoor movie with family and friends at Water Street Market. This annual summer event is something the community looks forward to each year. The movies are selected by a view poll over the winter and the line up this year has some classics. Adventure, Comedy, Thrillers and of course the reoccuring summer favorite "Jaws" are all one the schedule.

These nights are family friendly. You do need to look at the schedule in case you were hoping to bring small children. Most films are from the PG category. Free popcorn is usually is not always available but you are encourage to bring snacks even a meal of your own.

Businesses at Water Street Market also offer food and drinks making it easy to just grab something for the market. The Mudd Puddle, The Cheese Plate, The Parish, Jar'd Wine Bar, Kosiner Brothers Fry Shack and Hot Dog Stand are all ready to help you put together a feast for film night.

You encourage to come early to reserve your spot in the courtyard. Bring your own chair or blanket to sit on. Some films are more popular than others so the crowd can varies from night to night. All films begin at dusk (on or about 8:30 pm).
