What’s Next: Popular Fishkill Restaurant Announces Closing
A new beginning for one of the area's best steakhouses and seafood restaurants.
Last year we told you that the folks that own and operate Hudson's Ribs & Fish in Fishkill had sold the restaurant to new owners. At the time of the sale, it was announced that the new owners would be keeping the legendary "Hudson's" name when they officially took over but it looks like that has changed.
New Plans for Hudson's Ribs & Fish
After 32 years of serving the Hudson Valley, the Bei family announced one year ago that they sold the Fishkill restaurant, and one year later, the new owners have announced on Facebook that they are closing their doors on August 1st, 2022, "On August 1st, 2022 "Hudson's Ribs and Fish" will be closing in preparation for the new, incoming Restaurant Oda."
The closing comes as a surprise to some as it was reported last year that they would continue Hudson's legacy but due to many factors, that plan has changed. The good news is the current owners plan to start construction on the new restaurant immediately and once completed, they are inviting everyone to the grand opening of the new "Oda" restaurant. As long as construction goes as planned, the grand opening will hopefully happen sometime in mid-September 2022.
BarVino
The new owners of Hudson's have been busy over the last year as they have opened BarVino in part of the Hudsons location on Route 9 in Fishkill. The wine bar and lounge will remain open during construction with owners saying that they look forward to serving their valued customers.
