If you, or someone in your family, will be heading to college for the 2016-2017 school year, it's time to start thinking about financial aid. One would think that would be a reasonably simple process, but, as it turns out, it's not. That's why SUNY Orange will be offering three Financial Aid Workshops this month.

The Financial Aid Office at SUNY Orange will hold 2 workshops at the Middletown Campus on the 3rd Floor of the George F. Shepard Student Center in room 342 on Wednesday,  March 16 at 5 pm and on Wednesday, March 30 at 5:30 pm. There will be one workshop offered at the Newburgh Campus in Kaplan Hall, room 112 on Tuesday, March 15 at 5:30 pm. Each workshop is expected to last about two hours.

These workshops are designed to help students and their parents navigate through the financial aid process and to complete the 2016-2017 Free Applications for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  Attendees will also receive information in regards to the financial aid process, financial aid opportunities, as well as deadlines for the 2016-2017 academic year.

These workshops aren't just for SUNY Orange students, they are open to anyone who is thinking of going to college. You will need to bring some financial information as well as other forms to these workshops, click here for the complete list.
