Favorite Summer Vacations

Did your family take summer vacations? What was your favorite?

As we head into summer this year we thought it would be fun to take a stroll down memory lane. Growing up did your family take a summer vacation?

Jess' family would head to Lake George every summer for about a week and she said it was one of her favorite memories as a kid. That's why I'm planning on taking my kids to Lake George in July to start up a single dad family vacation. LOL. I have the hotel booked and Great Escape tickets bought! This is only my second time ever going to Lake George, so if you have any must do's while we are there, PLEASE let me know!!

My family when I was younger would always take trips up to Jewett near Windham in the Catskills every summer and winter and they loved it so much that we moved up there was I was like 12 years old.
