Exercise Your Right to Vote

Today is election day and while we may not all agree on who to vote for, we all have been given an amazing gift of having a voice in the government of our towns, state, and country.

I remember when I was young asking my Dad who he was going to vote for in an upcoming election and he wouldn't tell me. I asked why and he said that many men and women fought and died for our right to vote any way our conscience tells us to and we don't have to share that information. That is one of our many freedoms we enjoy as an American. I never forgot that. I will never be able to personally thank every man and woman who sacrificed so much so that we remain a free country, but I am grateful to them with each vote I cast.
