Ever Read a Book Because of a TV Show?

It has just happened to me and I have to be honest I feel a little weird. LOL!

I'm still not sure why I found myself watching a new show on HBO the other night, but there I was scrolling through the on demand part of HBO on my TV and came across the new show "The Outsider".

Having no idea what the show was even about, I hit play and started watching episode one and before I knew it I had watched three episodes. I was hooked!

Hooked so much that after the first episode ended I saw the end credits said that the series was based on the novel "The Outsider" by Stephen King. If you know me, I'm not a big book or reading guy but the show was that good, I opened up Amazon on my phone and looked up the book and before I knew it I bought it and can't wait for it to come so I can start reading it.

If you have read it or watched the show on HBO can you do me one favor? PLEASE don't spoil it for me..LOL. It's really is the first time I have ever bought a book because of a TV show or bought a book for any reason outside of self help stuff..LOL!
