
Dutchess County Rescue Pups Get Spotlight in New Paul Rudd Project
Paul Rudd Films New Project Across the Hudson Valley
Back in May of 2025, we started hearing about a new movie project filming in Dutchess County.
Movies and television shows are part of daily life here in the Hudson Valley, but this project was starring local celeb, Paul Rudd. We learned the movie is called Rain Reign.
The Film & Television Industry Alliance website shared a synopsis of the film explaining that the movie is about a woman with Asperger's syndrome who forms a special bond with a dog name Rain.

The movie is based off of a book of the same name.
Paul Rudd stars along side his former Clueless co-star Jeremy Sisto, and new comer Felice Kakaletris playing the lead according to Deadline.

While it's super cool the dogs are getting the spotlight, the team at Dutchess County SPCA is hoping all the pups get their fairytale ending. As part of the Clear the Shelters campaign, adoption fees are 75% off for the whole month of August with pre-approved application.
