Parton, who died peacefully in Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday, August 25, at 80 years old, was one of the only people in the world that all of us can agree was an amazing human being. Her death was announced by her nephew, Bryan Seaver, in a video shared on her social media accounts as tributes from fans, musicians and public figures began pouring in from around the world.

President Trump shared his thoughts about Parton's death on Truth Social shortly after the news was announced, according to Fox News.

"Very sad to report that Dolly Parton, one of the greatest Country singers, and far beyond, EVER, has just passed away," Trump wrote. "This is a true loss for millions of people. There has never been anyone like her, and never will."

Trump also told Parton, "The World loves you."
