If this problem ever happens to you, we have a few solutions for ya!

We got a message from Lindsey this morning and she was frantic. She wrote to us, "Hey Cj and Jess, my dog just got sprayed by a skunk and he smells so bad I don’t even want to bring him in the house but I have to go work in an hour….is there any way to get the smell out FAST?

Jess and I had no idea what to tell her to do so we brought it up on the show and as always you guys had some great solutions.

Everything from Tomato juice to grape jelly was called in, but this recipe seems to be the one that everyone says works the best.

According to the Humane Society, he is what you do:

Mix together 1 quart of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide

1/4 cup baking soda

1 teaspoon liquid dish wash soap

Rub the mixture through the dogs fur, but don't leave it on too long (peroxide can bleach fur), then rinse thoroughly.

Next, wash your dog with pet shampoo and rinse thoroughly.

After all that,it should do the trick!
