If you have been dreaming of working in the law enforcement field, it's time to get your applications ready.

In a press release from the Orange County Government, they have announced that Orange County is "now accepting applications for the Police Officer/Deputy Sheriff Civil Service Exam."

In the press release Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus  “Police officers play a very important role in our society and those who decide to pursue a career in law enforcement are to be commended for their public service.”

To apply for the exam a "$50 non-refundable application processing fee is required payable to Commissioner of Finance." Those who apply must also pass a physical fitness exam and meet the "minimum qualifications."

If you apply, you application must be "postmarked by the last filing date of July 1, 2019" or you can physically bring the application to the Human Resources Office at the Government Center in Goshen by close of business July 3, 2019.
