Child Abducted in Lake George, New York

According to the New York State Police Investigative Support Unit, an AMBER Alert has been activated after a child was allegedly abducted Saturday night, July 19th, 2025, at approximately 9:40 p.m. in the Lake George, NY area of Warren County, NY.

Melina Frattolin Abducted

The alert posted on the New York State Police Facebook page described the child, Melina Frattolin (pictured above), as a female of Indian descent, approximately 9 years old with brown hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5 feet tall and weighs about 100 pounds.

Last Seen in White Van

Police said that the child was reportedly seen in a white van that was heading southbound on the Adirondack Northway (I-87) near exit 22. Police didn't provide any other details about the van but did say that the child was last seen wearing blue and white striped shorts and white Adidas sneakers.

Child in "Imminent Danger"

The suspect is not known at this time, but police did say that the child was "taken under circumstances that lead them to believe that she is in imminent danger of serious bodily harm and/or death."
