According to the New York Lottery, the Gaetakro Limited Liability Company (LLC) of Lagrangeville has claimed the $10 million top prize on the Ultimate Cash scratch-off game. The LLC chose to receive the cash value of the annuitized prize rather than annual payments. After required state and federal tax withholdings, the winner received a one-time lump sum payment totaling $4,420,300.

The winning $30 Ultimate Cash scratch-off ticket was purchased at the Price Chopper in the Hudson Plaza, located at 2585 South Road (Route 9) in Poughkeepsie.

This isn't the first time someone in Dutchess County has cashed in on a life-changing scratch-off prize in 2026.

Second Multi-Million-Dollar Winner This Year

Earlier this year, Daniel Simmons of Red Hook claimed the $5 million top prize on the New York Lottery's Mystery Multiplier scratch-off game, making this the second multi-million-dollar scratch-off winner from Dutchess County this year.
