Pumpkins That Look Like Human Heads Are Growing in New York
A farm in the Hudson Valley has gone viral after growing pumpkins that look like human heads.
As Fall begins in New York, many families are making plans for their annual trip to a pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect pumpkin or pumpkins for the season. Most families will pick out a few pumpkins to either decorate or carve into a jack-o-lantern.
Both choices are great options and will oftentimes result in smiles all around, but how unique would it be to have a pumpkin that everyone will be talking about that doesn't require any decorating or carving?
Let us introduce you to the human head pumpkins available at an Orange County, NY farm.

The human head pumpkins are the workings of Echo Fields Founder Todd Lyons, who explained to us that the pumpkin creations are the talk of the town and beyond.
Echo Fields, located in Westtown, NY, is now offering pumpkins that look eerily close to a human head. As you can see in the pictures (above/below), some of the pumpkins look like a simple head, while others look like Frankenstein, President Donald J. Trump, the scary movie character Chucky, and others.
How Human Head Pumpkins are Grown
We spoke to Lyons about the creations, and he shared the way he's able to grow such interesting and unique pumpkins.
"First, we clamp the molds around the pumpkin when it’s about the size of your fist and rotate the pumpkin daily to create proper air flow to it," said Lyons. "Once the mold is full and the pumpkin starts to turn orange, we remove the mold and are left with an incredibly shaped pumpkin."

Lyons also told us that when he bought the farm a while back, the plan was to develop the land into a large subdivision of homes, but he changed his mind and opted to create a venue for everyone to enjoy and not ruin the land.
