Carrie Underwood, American Idol Judge?

With all the reality singing competitions going on, there are lots of openings for judges. Producers are dipping into the celebrity pool, obviously, with Keith Urban holding it down on American Idol and Blake Shelton keeping things running on The Voice.

There are a ton of country stars these shows could pick from. So why not go with an artist who has the experience of being on a reality competition, winning said competition AND having a successful career after? Carrie Underwood might just be the best judge a show like American Idol can think up. However, they haven't even asked her to come on the show!

Carrie told "Nashville Lifestyles" in an interview "I don't know if I'd ever even have the time, besides the fact that I haven't been asked to judge."

Yes, she's expecting her first child in the spring and she has a huge tour coming up, but come on Idol! The least you could do is ask!
