2020 has not left enough time for us to yard sale. I don't know about you but I haven't gotten my fill, which is why I will be one of the first folks at the door this Saturday for C.A.R.E. of DC's monthly half price yard sale at their thrift shop in Wappingers Falls. You can't beat it, half price shopping and the money goes to help the sweetest animals while they wait to find their fur-ever home.

CARE of DC also know as Compassionate Animal Rescue Efforts of Dutchess County is a "No Kill" organization that takes in animals that are "at risk" and works to find them permanent homes with people all over the Hudson Valley. They accept donations, store them and then work with their partners to distribute the supplies as needed. Their thrift shop at 949 Route 376 in Wappingers Falls is another source of funding.

The proceeds from the thrift store and this Saturday's sale benefit the animals that CARE of DC is caring for while trying to find them homes. The sale is at the shop from 9 AM to 5 PM. It is held monthly so if you miss coming out this weekend watch for next month's sale. Below we put together a gallery of photos to give you an idea of what they have. Just an FYI  this sale doesn't include pet items, jewelry or Waterford crystal.
