Can Divorced Couples Live Together?

Is this even possible?

Every Wednesday on the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show we dim the lights, lower the music a bit and turn the Wolf studio into a therapy office for a little group therapy. We call it "We Gotcha Wednesday" and every week we pick one of the emails that have been sent in by someone just like you looking for some advice with a problem or situation they are going through. I have said it a million times, "the Wolf pack (you guys) give the BEST advice".

Here is this weeks email....

"My wife and I are separated right now, but living in the same house. Before all this covid stuff started I was planning on moving out but now, well I can’t. I really don’t have anywhere else to go, so it’s me, the wife I’m leaving, and our 3 kids. None of our kids know that I’m moving out, so it’s making things even more awkward with us all stuck home together. My soon to be ex wants to wait and tell people, so that maybe we can work on things. Problem is I’ve been talking to someone I met online, and she’s great. I love talking to her and even thou she is 15 years younger than me, we have a lot of stuff in common. My wife doesn’t know about that yet. I think I need to be honest and just tell her, but I’m scared if I do I won’t ever get to see my kids. I told my best friend and he thinks I’m an idiot, and I need to wait until all of this is done. Would now be a bad time to discuss this with my wife? Can divorced people live together after divorce?"

WOW, this definitely a tough spot for everyone to be in. I think that the only way to handle stuff like this is to be honest. It just isn't fair to have someone think that there is a chance of fixing things when you have already moved on. A speaking of moving on, I am a firm believer that when you come out of a marriage you can't just jump into another relationship. I've done it and everyone in my life kept saying that to me and I always shrugged it off...until I figured out that they were right! So before you go and jump into another situation, my advice is for you to clear up your present stuff first.
