It's not ever day you see a bull running on the streets of New York and Connecticut. However, it's not uncommon either.

According to the report the Scottish Highland Bull has been on the run for 20 days in the freezing temperatures and dangerous ice.

Have You Seen This Scottish Highland Bull?

Eyewitness News 3 reports that the bull, who belongs to a Jo Ann Joray, has been spotted several times.

They say the "sporadic sightings" include a sighting from an Animal Control Officer in  Kent and then again just over the town line in New Milford, CT.

Animal Control Officer Lee Sohl told Eyewitness News in an interview "“If somebody calls me about a sighting, then I tell the owner and they’ve been doing their best. They run right out and try to get to it. But it’s hard. It’s hard in this weather, and it’s very scared.”

Drone Services Help Locate Missing Hudson Valley Pets

While the search continues for the bull, there are a few local outlets that could be helpful in the rescue mission.

Over the last few years, we've seen several drone companies offer their services to help locate pets on the run.

Justin at Upstate Thermal Drone Service covers Upstate New York and offers lost pet and livestock Search and Rescue Efforts. Most recently, Justin helped find a 4lb chihuahua, named Bear, in a heavily wooded area in Deer Park.

In November 2024, Upstate Thermal Drone helped locate a heard of cows in Saratoga.

Further south, Heatseeking Drone Services also offers lost pet services in the Carmel region.

We'll keep you updated on the missing Highland Bull. If you're in the Kent, CT area keep your eyes peeled, you can't miss this little big guy!
