
Country Singer Escorted Off Stage During Upstate, NY Fair Performance
Fair Season Around New York State
The summer of 2025 was capped off with a successful fair season across New York State.
Here in the Hudson Valley we were able to enjoy the Orange, Ulster and Dutchess County fairs between July and August. The Great New York State Fair went off without a hitch as did other fairs in counties across the state.

Families enjoyed fair food, rides and loads of different forms of entertainment including music from some of your favorite country artists.
One country star, however, ended their show in an unfortunate way back on August 30th.
Country Singer Escorted Off Stage at Upstate, New York Fair
Up and coming country singer Bryan Martin is behind hits like We Ride and Going For Broke.
Martin was schedule to play at The Schaghticoke Fair on Friday, August 29th. Martin hit the stage around 7:30 pm that night and it was shortly after that when fans realized something was off.
The country singer was slurring his words and admitted to being a "little drunk" while on stage. Videos capture on TikTok show how the performance started:

...and how things got progressively worse for Martin as someone from his team tried to get him off the stage:

Ultimately, Martin was the escorted off the stage and wrangled up by local police:

Bryan Martin Releases Statement After NY Fair Incident
Martin took to social media to apologize and explain his actions during his show at the Upstate, New York fair.
On Facebook Martin writes:
Sorry I let yall down tonight… truth is I’m not ok… been hitting it hard for a while and haven’t took time to be honest with myself about my mental health and it’s nothing new to struggle with my anxiety and depression...
He went on to add "lately I’ve learned I let my fragile mind override my heart at times and tonight it got the best of me."
