Fair Season Underway Across New York State

The end of August signals the sad end to summer, but also the thick of fair season across New York State.

Locally, the Hudson Valley just wrapped a continuous fair season first kicking off in July at the Orange County Fair in Middletown, followed by the Ulster County Fair in New Paltz and then the big show The Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck.

After our fairs close for the summer, the Great New York State Fair gets underway in Syracuse. The New York State Fair runs from August 20th through September 1st.

Amazing Line Up of Entertainment at the Great New York State Fair

The 2025 Great New York State Fair is underway with a great line up of performers and entertainment.

When we say they have an insane concert lineup, we're not kidding. The Great New York State Fair booked every one like AJR, Busta Rhymes, OAR, Jessie Murph,  98 Degrees, DJ Pauly D, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Shaggy, Dustin Lynch, and Carly Pearce.

NYS Trooper Delivers Beautiful National Anthem Performance at Great NYS Fair

Before Carley Pearce hit the stage at Suburban Park on August 27th,  a special guests arrived on stage to sing the National Anthem.

The New York State Police took to Instagram and introduced us to New York State Trooper Andrew Young of Troop A in SP Jamestown. Trooper Young has a hidden talent.

That talent happens to be a phenomenal singing voice. Watch his rendition of the National Anthem at the New York State Fair below:
