Throughout the year, here at The Wolf, we do the best we can to spread the word when it comes to helping Veterans around the Hudson Valley.

This year is no different. If anything, with everything going on with the pandemic, this year is more important than ever.

Recently we've teamed up with Hudson Valley Veteran's Alliance to help get meals on the table of Veterans in Dutchess County. This summer we worked with them with a few food drives and will be working with them again in the future.

Last week, in honor of Veterans Day, Boutique Wines, Spirits and Ciders in Fishkill worked in part with Do Good Spirits to do a fundraiser of their own. Paige and the Boutique team from November 9th to November 12th took 10% of whatever they sold and put it towards donations for HVVA.

Do Good Spirits, is a Veteran owned distillery in Roscoe New York. 25% of the proceeds from Do Good Spirits purchases were also put in the donation collection.

Last week after the final count, Boutique Wines, Spirits and Ciders donated $1,000 to the Hudson Valley Veterans Alliance.

The HVVA is a non-profit that's main goal is to "help provide assistance, information, and build support networks for veterans, by veterans, throughout the Hudson Valley" according to their website. Their motto is "One Team, One Fight" because "in the Alliance, we serve all service members who are facing hardship."

Boutique Wines, Spirits and Ciders will also be helping Veterans out during Thanksgiving as a part of VET2VET Chow Hauling event,  collecting food on November 19th at Adams Fairacre Farms in Wappingers.

They'll be collecting non-perishable food items from 2pm until 7pm in efforts to get Thanksgiving dinner on the table of Vets around the Hudson Valley.
