If you are thinking of adopting a dog, this could help you with the cost that goes along with it.

The beer company Coors Light has announced that they are now going to start to offer to help folks across the country with money to use towards the cost of adopting a pet according to WFLA.

If you are 21 and over and go to adopt a dog between now and February 21st, Coors Light will reimburse you up to $100 in fees. The offer is limited to 1,000 dog adoptions across the country so if you have been waiting to pull the trigger on adoption, now is the time to do it.

Here is how you can grab the $100, take a picture of your adoption receipt and text it along with, “COORS4k9” to 28130. Once they receive your text, Coors Light will review it and award the first 1,000 eligible participants with $100 to use towards their adoption fees.

Why has Coors Light decided to help? Well, Chelsea Parker, the Marketing Manager at Molson Coors told WFLA that, "“Cuffing Season is a major cultural trend and poses tension for our younger drinkers, as they navigate the stress of finding someone to spend the cold months with and with almost half of millennial's planning to stay in on Valentine’s Day, we wanted to help empower people to savor the day with Coors Light and a dog by their side.”
