Sometimes the hardest decision to make is what restaurant to eat at.

If you're anything like my wife Jamie and I, we always have a hard time picking out what restaurant to go and eat at. We have driven around the Hudson Valley for like an hour at a time trying to make up our minds. So we're always looking for a new place to try out and this one looks really good and it's just been voted the "Best New Restaurant" by readers of the Hudson Valley Magazine.

It's called the Kitchen Sink Food & Drink, located at 157 Main Street in Beacon and offers up a farm to table mix of global and family influenced dishes.

Kitchen Sink Chef and owner Brian Arnoff who was born and raised in Hyde Park told Southwest Dutchess that “My team and I are committed to providing an excellent dining experience to our customers and we are thrilled that they’ve recognized our high-quality farm-to-table ingredients and our comfortable, homey vibe.”

Arnoff always wanted to open a restaurant in the Hudson Valley and after having a successful food truck business in Washington D.C., that he sold after running it for 3 1/2 years, he decided to come home and open up the Kitchen Sink in 2015.
