Hudson Valley Bakery Closing Location It Ran for 33 Years
There will be a sad day this fall when one of the places that you have got your birthday cakes for the last 33 years will be closing one of its locations. The Pastry Garden, the location on Route 44 in Poughkeepsie, next to Adams Fairacre Farms, will be closing their doors.
Not all hope is lost: the location on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie Plaza, next to Modell's will remain open, as it has for the last 15 years, and able to craft the cake or dessert of your dreams.
According to The Pastry Garden Facebook page:
Dear friends and loyal customers,
The Pastry Garden would like to thank you for your patronage for the past 33 years. This fall, our lease will end and we will be leaving our location next to Adam's – 749 Dutchess Turnpike.
*We will continue to operate at our main store in the Poughkeepsie Plaza, 2600 South Road, next door to Modell’s. We have been at this location for 15 years and plan on spending many more years here.*
As usual, we will always do our very best to produce quality products and to offer the best service. What other bakeries can’t or won’t do, we will.
Please visit us at our Route 9 location where everything is made fresh daily. Once again, thank you very much for your loyalty and friendship.
Here is a photo from one of my co-workers, who just got birthday cakes for his daughters at Pastry Garden. He promises the cakes tasted even better than they looked.
