If there's one thing we know about the Hudson Valley, it's that there is no shortage of delicious restaurants.

From Orange County, to Ulster, Dutchess and Sullivan, we have hundreds of options to choose from. Sometimes those places are so good that they get statewide recognition.

NewYorkUpstate.com created a list of 35 of the Best Steakhouses in New York state. They've collected information through Yelp reviews and an algorithm that "looks at the number of reviews and star rating for a business, as well as other factors like number of negative reviews and recency of reviews."

Luckily for us in the Hudson Valley, three local spots made the list.

Coming in at number 25 is Mr. Sushi & Grill in Orange County. The Middletown establishment has gained 101 five-star reviews that rave about their hibachi and steaks. From the reviews, it sounds like the sushi isn't half bad either.

Number 22 on the list is Christine's in Ulster County. The Italian restaurant in Kingston has 30 five-star reviews out of 53 reviews.

Cracking the top 10 and coming in at number 4 is Novella's in New Paltz. Out of 36 Yelp reviews, Novella's has 35 five-star reviews. One customer wrote that they were "satisfied with everything - the ambiance, the hostess, our servers, and the food and drinks."
