The whole time I was growing up I heard, "If you live in the North East it's Blizzards, The south gets hurricanes, the midwest gets tornadoes and the west gets Earthquakes"

We've had tornadoes, hurricanes, blizzards and now earthquakes.

According to Newsweek.com, a 3.5 earthquake hit the Glen Falls, NY area today around 6:45am.

It is being said that it was felt as far as Vermont.

I have only ever experienced one earthquake in my life and that was when I lived in Los Angeles.

I remember being in the show and it felt like I was getting stung by the shower sparys of water.  Turns out that it was only a small "tremor" as they call them there.  It was about a 3.5 but in California, that's like rain in the northeast.

No report of injuries so far.

One thing I do know is that with every earthquake comes an after shake so, hang on.
