We have rewritten the holiday classic with all Hudson Valley references.

At the end of every year for the last 6 years, we always say that this will be the last time we play the song we put together many years ago to celebrate the holiday season and everything Hudson Valley. Once we get into the month of December the requests start coming in and well, we can help ourselves.

The Twelve Days of Hudson Valley Christmas was a song we rewrote the words to about 7 years ago with your help. Your familiar with song, right? It's the Christmas classic that goes like this, "On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me, a partridge in a pear tree". Remember now?

To rewrite it, we asked fans of the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show to try and help us with the lyrics. The only rule we tried to follow with the new lyrics is that we wanted all of them to have some sort of Hudson Valley reference.

We asked for your help and WOW did you guys put your music writing hats on. One thing before you spend a few minutes listening to a Hudson Valley classic, when we recorded this version of the song, we did what we could to fact check all of lyrics. Seven years ago all the lyrics checked out but since then some have changed....so keep that in mind before you send me an email screaming at me that I got something wrong...LOL!

To voice the song, we asked our news guy from 7 years ago, Nikola to do his best and hit knocked it outta the park! You have to hear his "FIVE BIG ASS BRIDGES". Take a listen and have a Merry Christmas from all of us here at 97.7/97.3 The Wolf.
