This past holiday weekend there was plenty to do in the Hudson Valley. There were farmer's markets and flea markets; artisan craft shows and yard sales. Every community up and down the river had something for everyone to do with 3 glorious days of weather. Hopefully you were able to take in an event or two this weekend.

My friends and I have a tradition of heading to West Point for the end of the season Concert Under the Stars at Trophy Point. The West Point Band puts on a great show and the cannons and fireworks accompanying the 1812 Overture make for and unforgettable experience.

Another unforgettable experience took place on the Hudson River this weekend for a group of girls who got to be at the helm of the Sloop Clearwater. Harry Smith of NBC News covered their adventure.

If you haven't been able to enjoy the Clear Water and her mission on the Hudson River check out the button below to find out all that her and her crew have to offer.
