How about you?

Every Wednesday on the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show we do our part in trying to help out a fellow Wolf listener with a problem or issue they are dealing with. We call it "We Gotcha Wednesday" and every week Jess and I open up our email and pick one email from a fan of the show that's looking for some sort of advice.

We say it all the time, we don't give the best advice BUT you guys do, and that's why we do this every week. Some weeks the issues are serious, other weeks not so much and I think that this weeks problem, at least to me, is a simple answer, NO!

Here's the email we got....

"Hey guys wanted to see what your opinion on this was. This is a real crazy situation because I honestly don't know what to do. So recently my husband got a call from his ex-wife. She apparently has fallen on to hard times with her losing her job due to COVID. She asked him if there was anyway he could help her out financially while she got back on her feet. He said she promised him to pay him back as soon as things got better. Things are so bad for her that she had to move out of the apartment she was sharing with a roommate cause she could afford it. She has been bouncing around from friend to friend couches. He told me he felt sorry for her and knew that she would pay us back. He also mentioned that maybe we could even let her stay in our spare room that way we don't have to lend her cash, she could just stay here instead. I don't know how I feel about that. I do want to help but I feel like it's put me in an awkward situation. Is this a good idea or should I say no?"

I try to live by the rule NEVER lend money to anyone but I think in this situation if you have a little extra money and won't struggle if you never get it back, you should give her a few dollars to try and help her out.

Casey texted us some great advice, she said "If you do give her money and she doesn't pay you back you have to promise yourself that you won't hold it against your husband."

What do you guys think? Call or text us what you would do through the Wolf app.
