Wolf Taste of Country Music Festival Spotlight: Steve Moakler
Are you ready for the 5th Annual Taste of Country Music Festival this June at Hunter Mountain? You could be there for 3 days of music featuring Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert and Sam Hunt. Plus, Chris Young, Kip Moore, Tyler Farr, Maren Morris, Joe Nichols, Maddie & Tae, and RaeLynn.
Also on the bill are rising stars Cody Johnson, Steve Moakler, Smithfield, Courtney Cole, Brooke Eden and Jackson Michelson.
Some of these names may not be that familiar to you which is why we’re shining the WOLF TOCFest Spotlight on one of these artists every week. Not only will you get to know them better, but you can also enter to win a pair of 3-day passes.
This week, Steve Moakler steps into our spotlight.
First of all, he's from my hometown, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, so he gets bonus points for that. Plus, he's been pursuing his dream of a career in music for awhile now, and even though the road got bumpy a time or two, he hasn't given up, he keeps going after his dream. You've gotta love that.
Steve moved to Nashville in 2006 and has released three independent albums as well as an EP. According to his bio, he's been at the top of the Itunes chart, been named as an artist to watch by Rolling Stone magazine, and has toured with Kelsea Ballerini, Dan & Shay, and Billy Currington. He also wrote a song that Dierks Bentley recorded, called "Riser".
Ladies and gentlemen, meet Steve Moakler.
Here's the song he talks about in the clip above, "The Suitcase"
