Wolf Taste of Country Music Festival Artist Spotlight: Cody Johnson

This week, Cody Johnson steps into the spotlight.

To say that Cody Johnson is a new artist is a bit misleading. He's released six albums without having a recording contract. He knows firsthand the hard work that it takes to make it in the music business and he hasn't been afraid to roll his sleeves up and get it done.

Originating from Texas, he learned about music, like many other artists, in church first and then the bars and Honky Tonks later. He plays the drums as well as the guitar, and writes songs. His voice is pretty smooth and he's definitely got stage presence. Just wait 'til you see him at this year's Taste of Country Music Festival.
