Wolf Pets of The Week Want to be Your Valentine

Caution, furry, lovable, cuteness ahead. This week's Wolf Pets of the Week, with the Ulster County SPCA, are looking for their furever homes and it just might be yours.

The Ulster County SPCA does a great job working with each animal to better assess what kind of home they'd be better suited for. Should it be a home with older children, no other pets, need room to run, or are a senior animal who just wants to snuggle with you on the couch. The folks from the SPCA can help with all of that.

Meet Lou.

Lou is 2 years old and he loves to nap. He's a little shy at first but if you go slowly with him, he'll be your best friend.

This is DJ.

DJ is an adult Cairn-Terrier mix. He needs a very specific home. He is extremely cute, but he comes with some baggage. As a result, he can't go home with any children and he needs to be adopted by an experienced dog owner. He has displayed some food guarding along with other behavior quirks that can be handled easily with the right owners. He gets along great with dogs and cats.  Once he knows you, DJ is a friendly, outgoing, happy, affectionate, playful little boy that just wants to be in a home that loves him.

We'd like to introduce you to Fargo.

Fargo is 8 years and is the big fluffy guy roaming around the lobby. Before he came to the shelter he was attacked by some sort of animal who did a number on his ear. He's a friendly kitty who would like to feel safe in a forever home!

Last, but not least meet Neko.

Neko is an 18 month old Pit mix. He's very friendly, has high energy, is good with dogs, and VERY EXCITABLE around cats. He hasn't been evaluated with children. This happy boy is being housed at the SPCA from Esopus Dog Control, please come in to say hello.
