Witches Invade the Hudson River in Sleepy Hollow, NY This Weekend
Surfs up, Witches! Or paddles up in this case. This weekend the witching hour will begin with hundreds of witches invading the Lower Hudson Valley.
When you think of October in New York, you probably think of The Legends of Sleepy Hollow. The Westchester County town transforms into a haunted wonderland of sorts to celebrate the spooky season with all of its visitors.
This Sunday, October 15th, Sleepy Hollow will welcome all the witches to Horan's Landing by way of the Hudson River.
Rivertowns Sup & Yoga will be hosting their 4th annual Sup Witches Festival from 12 pm until 6 pm with music, vendors, spooky legends, and of course witches.
At 12:30 pm The Legend of Sleepy Hollow will be performed by Ian Berger and shortly after at 1 pm, the witches will begin brewing on their paddleboards. The witches on the Hudson will paddle through until 2:30 pm.
Afterward, you can cheer the witches with your favorite "witches brew", enjoy food, local vendors, and dance the afternoon away with live local bands.
If you or someone you know is interested in paddleboarding with the other witches, you must be registered before Sunday's big event. To learn more and register visit Rivertowssupyoga.com.
You can watch a little sneak peek at what to expect this weekend from the Sup Witches event in 2021 below:
Will the witches conjure up a spell to change the name of the Mario Cuomo Bridge back to the Tapen Zee? Only time will tell!
