Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Parts of the Hudson Valley

It's January in New York and that means snow, sleet, ice and sometimes all of that mixed together, coming down at the same time. That's what the National Weather Service is watching for tomorrow for parts of the Hudson Valley.
Sullivan County could see snow beginning tomorrow morning and then see a switch over to ice which has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Winter Weather Advisory from 10 am tomorrow until 1 am on Wednesday, January 11.
Towns in the advisory area could see one to three inches of snow before the transition to a wintry mix during the afternoon and into the evening. This will create hazardous driving conditions with scattered power outages as the winds are expected to increase as the day goes on.
According to the National Weather Service, be prepared for slippery roads and poor visibility, which will cause difficulty travelling. Should this cause any school closings, cancellations, or delays, click below for the complete list of snow closings.
