Why Did You Choose The Job You Have?

We got talking on the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show about how I saw a pretty cool help wanted ad for a job that got me interested. It read "Hard Labor, Odd Hours, Low Pay(NO) and Cool Helmet".

After clicking on the link, I found out it was an ad for a local Fire Department looking for new volunteers and it got me thinking about why we do what we do. Is there a reason you do the job you have right now?

I know that for me, I do this radio thing for one reason, it's the one thing that for the last 25 years, has made me happy do to most days. Both Jess and I do not do this job for the money. Now do get me wrong we both do OK but I know that I could definitely do something else for a living for way more money but I know that I would never be as happy as I am doing this.
