Who Gets to Sit Shotgun, Wife or Mom?

This guy needs your advice ASAP!

Every Wednesday on the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show we save a trip to the therapists office for one fan of the show with what we call "We Gotcha Wednesday". Every week we open up our email and pick one email that was sent into us from a fellow Wolf listener who is looking for some advice with a situation or issue going on in their life.

Some weeks the issue is a serious one, other weeks not so much and we bot think that this weeks problem is somewhere in between. Brian wrote to us....

"HELP!!!! I'm going on a vacation up North with my wife, mother, and 3 kids in about a week. Out of nowhere the other day my wife says she expects to ride shotgun on the trip because she gets car sick. I ran it by my mom not thinking it would be a big deal and when I say she freaked out is an understatement, she FLIPPED OUT!

She said, she gave birth to me and shouldn't have to sit in the back like a child and not to mention, she claims she gets carsick too. Now guys, I've never known either one of them ever saying or getting carsick from sitting in the back of the car before. I think it's become a petty power battle between the two of them and now I'm stuck in the middle of it and I don't know what to do! Who gets to ride in the passenger seat...my wife or my mother?"

UGH! It's never fun when mom and wife are bickering, right? If I was in this spot, I would let my wife sit shotgun, ONLY because I think mom would forgive me quicker than a wife would. Jess thinks they should rent another car so the wife can drive herself and the mom can sit in the front.
