If you are like me you most likely have a pile of ribbon, wrapping, and other crafty stuff lying around on a shelf in your house. Every time a holiday rolls around you stock up and then use less than half of what you had to buy.

It also can be because you gathered all of the ingredients for a creative fun afternoon of crafting but you just haven't had the time. What is worse is if you are like me and bought it for a project you haven't done and the receipt is so old it faded there is no way you can return it.

Extra Craft Supplies Can Be Donated in New York

Whether it is your totes full of ribbon or maybe even some yards of fabric there is no reason to let it clutter up the house. It is time to cull the herd as they say and start over. So what should you do with all that stuff? Easy donate it.

This time of year thrift shops are happy to get well-organized craft leftovers that they can sell. You can also check in your community if there is a collection spot at the local transfer station (a fancy word for dump). Some have a take it or leave it pile.
