What’s Happening This Weekend in the Hudson Valley: Vacation Edition

Summer is here and it's vacation time. So, whether you are doing a staycation this year, or you have vacationing guests from out of town, there's lots to see and do in the Hudson Valley all summer long.
Saturday, July 8; 8:30-10:30: Bicycle Skills Rodeo at Walkway Over the Hudson. If you're new to biking or want to increase your skills, this is the event for you. Ages 5 and up can come and learn basic skills as well as safety tips. Admission is free, but you must have a bicycle and helmet. Saturday, July 8; 1-3:30: Free Movies at E.B. Crawford Public Library in Monticello. The first Saturday of every month is a teen movie (up to PG-13) and the others are family movies (PG). Saturday, July 8; 10-4: Hurley Stone House Day. Explore the historic homes in this National Historic Landmark Village. Tour guides will be in period dress. Saturday, July 8; 9-6: See the tall ships at the Newburgh Marina. See the NIna and the Pinta, replicas of ships that Christopher Columbus sailed across the Atlantic with.
