What’s Happening This Weekend in the Hudson Valley
The kids are back in school and you are already stressed by your new schedule. Relax and have some fun this weekend throughout the Hudson Valley. Here are just a few of the many great events going on with links to find even more.
Saturday, September 8; 1-8: Town of Wappinger Community Day Parade, Music, and Fireworks. The parade steps off at 1 pm on Myers Corners Road. There will be craft and food vendors in Schlathaus Park, live music throughout the day, inflatables for the kids, and games too. Saturday, September 8; 1-3: Get Tech Help at the Liberty Public Library. If the digital age hasn't been kind to you or if you need some help with a new device, they can help. Saturday, September 8; 11-4: Old New Paltz Stone House Day. Historic Huguenot Street is the place to be this weekend as they celebrate the 340th Aniversary of the settling of New Paltz. Join in the celebration of all the cultures that impacted New Paltz and Ulster County. 7 historic homes will be open for public tours with performances and vendor demonstrations occurring throughout the day. Saturday, September 8; 9 am -10 pm: Bring your family and friends to the Village of Montgomery for General Montgomery Day.
