What’s Happening This Weekend in the Hudson Valley: Easter Eggs
Easter is this Sunday and many communities throughout the Hudson Valley will be holding special Easter Egg hunts and parties for children and their families. Here's a few of them with links to find even more. Happy Weekend!
Saturday, March 31; 9:30-1: Annual John Flowers Easter Old-Fashioned Easter Egg Hunt at Waryas Park in the City of Poughkeepsie. There will be over 15,000 treat-filled plastic eggs hidden for children to find. Different age groups start the hunt at different times. It begins at 10 am with 1-2-year-olds and goes until 12:30 for those 80 and older. It's free to participate. Find more events going on in Dutchess County this weekend.
Saturday, March 31; 1-3: Bethel Youth Egg Hunt and Party at the Town of Bethel Parks and Recreation. Children up to the age of 10 can hunt for prize-filled plastic eggs. There will also be a coloring contest, refreshments and more. Find more events going on in Sullivan County this weekend.
Saturday, March 31; times vary: Easter Bunny Express with the Catskill Mountain Railroad in Kingston. Your child will get a visit from the Easter Bunny and have fun with an Easter Egg Hunt. Saturday, March 31; 11-1: Orange County Easter Egg Hunt at Thomas Bull Memorial Park for kids age 7 and under. Visit with the Easter Bunny and friends, have fun in the inflatable jump castle, enjoy free treats at the ice cream truck, and more. Prizes will be awarded.
