New Addition at Walmart in Kingston Is a Game Changer

Big changes are brewing inside one Hudson Valley Walmart store, and if you’re someone who can’t make it through a shopping trip without caffeine, this is going to be welcome news.

Walmart Adds Something New in Kingston, NY

The Walmart store located at 601 Frank Sottile Blvd in Kingston has officially added a new Dunkin' location right inside the store, giving shoppers a brand-new option to grab coffee, iced drinks, and quick snacks without ever leaving the building.

Walmart made the announcement earlier this week on Facebook, saying,

The new in-store Dunkin’ is all about convenience, perfect for a quick stop on your way in, a mid-shopping recharge, or even a treat before heading out.

What You Can Expect

The Kingston location will offer some of the fan-favorites, including:

• Freshly brewed coffee and espresso drinks
• Iced coffee and cold beverages
• Donuts, muffins, and baked goods
• Grab-and-go snacks

Not the First of Its Kind

This isn’t the first time Walmart and Dunkin’ have teamed up. The two companies first partnered back in 2004 to bring Dunkin’ locations into select Walmart stores across the country. There are already a few New York locations with in-store Dunkin’s, including stores in Hudson, Albany, and Fishkill, NY.

Bigger Changes Coming to Walmart Stores in New York

This new addition comes as Walmart continues to bring major changes to more than 20 stores in New York, including several in the Hudson Valley. Those upgrades are expected to include improved store layouts, updated technology, and a more streamlined shopping experience both in-store and online.

Walmart also says it’s working to expand delivery options, with some customers expected to receive orders in as little as an hour.

Remodeled stores will feature new brands like De’Longhi, Oura, Jessica Simpson, and Lemme, along with interactive displays designed to help shoppers visualize products in their homes before buying.
